Are these real cars?

No, these are MODEL CAR KITS. Please note these are plastic models that you assemble.

When will my order ship? 

We will ship your order after we receive payment from you. We ship on Monday-Thursday, excluding holidays if they fall on those days.

What are my shipping charges?

Your shipping cost will automatically be calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Just add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page.


How do i combine shipping on multiple items?

If it doesn't give you the option to combine shipping on multiple items, please call or email us, and we can do it for you.


International Shipping

All International shipments are sent via Priority Mail only, unless PRIOR arrangements have been made PREVIOUS to your purchase.

What are my payment choices?

During the checkout process you may choose one of our many payment options - PayPal, Money Orders, Mastercard, Visa, Discover Card, American Express
Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
If your shipping address is in the State of VA, then you have to pay sales tax.

What is a BACKORDER? When can I expect to receive my BACKORDER?

Backordered means that our suppliers are not able to predict when they will have more in stock. But rest assured that AS SOON as they ship the item (s) to us, we WILL ship it to you.

What is a pre-order, and how do I place a pre-order?

We do Pre-orders as a courtesy to the customer. It allows you, the customer, the option to place your order for upcoming kits, reserving those items for you. So when you Pre-order an item, you are placing an order on an item with expected availability in the future.

You can place pre-orders in the shopping cart, just like any order. However, NO PRE-ORDERS CAN BE COMBINED with other items that are NOT pre-orders.

What if my product is missing parts?

Please inspect your package when it arrives. If there is damage, contact us immediately. Be sure and save packing materials for possible damage claims. If you have a currently available new sealed kit with missing parts and/or damage, then you will need to contact the manufacturer and they will replace the damaged or missing part. Kits that are sealed but out of production, cannot be warranted by Model Car Mountain.

If you find there is a problem with a kit, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt in order for us to assist you in returning or replacing the item. Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped, otherwise refund/exchange WILL NOT be excepted.

Return Policy

Original sales receipt must accompany all returns.

All returns are contingent upon our inspection of item(s) once we receive it. Items that are returned must be in the exact condition as when they were received, without missing parts, showing signs of wear or damage in any way.

If you feel that you have received the wrong product, contact Model Car Mountain within 72 hours of receiving the product.

If an item is received damaged or is incorrectly shipped by us please contact Model Car Mountain immediately.

If you find there is a problem with a kit, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt in order for us to assist you in returning or replacing the item. Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped, otherwise refund/exchange WILL NOT be accepted.

We DO NOT accept returns for exchange or refund without PRIOR approval.

Approved returns much be sent back to Model Car Mountain within 7 calendar days of the delivery date (after 7 days no returns are allowed).

*****There will be no returns on special order items.*****

Items that are defective and shipped from us will qualify for store credit or a cash refund.

Items returned to us AFTER 7 days and WITHOUT contacting us will NOT be refunded.

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs if Model Car Mountain is not at fault.
